1. Scope
This notice describes how PitchArc may collect and use information when people visit the site, create a profile, submit an application, join a network, contact sales or participate in an introduction.
2. Information we handle
Account identity and contact details; role, organization and profile information; founder applications and private documents; investor or expert preferences; institutional program information; messages, consent records, first-party attribution events and security logs.
3. Why we use it
To provide and secure the service, verify accounts, screen applications, facilitate consent-led introductions, answer requests, improve workflows, send opted-in updates, measure the journey from content to signup and qualified sales inquiry, and meet legal obligations. Applicable lawful bases must be confirmed before launch.
4. Sharing and retention
Profile or application information is shared only as needed for the service and according to user choices and role permissions. Private files are not publicly addressed. Service providers should be bound by appropriate terms. Retention schedules, cross-border transfers and deletion procedures require legal confirmation.
5. Your choices
Editorial email is off by default. Members can opt in or out in the portal, and every automated blog email includes a one-click unsubscribe path. Members can also request access, correction or deletion. Contact privacy@pitcharc.com once that mailbox and formal process are operational.
6. Security
The application uses verified hosted identity, stable user IDs, server-side role checks, an exact owner allowlist, audit logs and owner-scoped private-document access. MFA for privileged accounts, encryption, backups and incident procedures must be enforced and verified in the production hosting and identity controls. No system is completely secure.
